Sauna usually has a temperature between 65-90 degrees Celsius with 10 percent humidity.

While the temperature in the body steam ranges from 43-48 degrees Celsius, with 100 percent humidity.


According to doctor and acupuncturist Joy Hussain, people who go to the sauna sweat more than those who go to the steam room.


Benefits of Sauna and Body Steam


Research shows that people who regularly go to the sauna can improve heart health, reduce the risk of stroke, and help the body's relaxation process.


"The benefits associated with sauna bathing appear to be very similar to those of exercise," says Joy Hussain.


Other research says resting in a sauna can relieve lower back pain and reduce the risk of dementia.


In contrast to saunas, not much research has been found on steam or steam rooms.


However, Doctor Joy said that the health benefits of steam rooms and saunas are similar.


"I suspect that the health benefits are very similar to dry saunas. Both saunas and steam rooms increase skin temperature," explains Joy.
