How to Explore the Uniqueness and Interior of Indonesia, There are Nusantara Elements in Spa Style

According to Prof. Dr. Koentjaraningrat, Indonesian culture is a whole system of ideas, actions and human works that are studied and accustomed to in people's lives.
Responding to this, interior designer Rudy Dodo will review how to explore the uniqueness and interior of Indonesia in the Indonesia Wellness Tourism International Festival 2024 webinar on Thursday (11/21/2024).
According to him, studying Indonesian culture is not just about looking, but also having to travel.
"We have to go there to explore Minang culture, which means we have to go to Padang. Meeting weaving maestros, architects who still preserve the traditional houses, we have to meet their music," said Rudy.
He said that traveling will make us find the essence of Indonesian culture.
"Why is traveling important? So, learning Indonesian culture can't just be from literature books, searching Google. But we have to travel. There we will meet cultural maestros, design maestros, culinary maestros or regional music maestros," he explained.
Then Dodo showed the results of his performance at Apurva Kempinski Bali, precisely Asha.
"This project is finally managed by ourselves, we collect it into one at Asha," said Rudy.
"A shop that sells art and crafts from all over Indonesia," he added.

He said that the journey will make us find the essence of Indonesian culture.
Rudy also mentioned the project at Apurva Bali, which combines regions in the country.
"We also bring a hybrid of Bali and Java that still represents, because the location is in Bali," explained Rudy.
"So there is still Bali, Java, Majapahit, Papua, Nias, and so on, don't worry. As interior designers, we have to mix it into one harmonious whole," he added.
