How to choose a perfume scent
Syasi explained that choosing a scent to combine in her perfume is like choosing a color to use on a canvas.
"In my opinion, each scent has its own color and personality," explained Syasi.
"For example, for me, citrus fruits are synonymous with joy, yellow and youth. Cedarwood for me symbolizes the tranquility of subtropical forests and resilience. These two scents are very different but as a perfumer I have to be able to mix these two scents to produce a synergistic scent," he added.

1. Floral Embrace
Syasi admitted to creating this scent to capture the happiness she experienced when she went to the lavender fields after the first lockdown in London.
"This scent is my way of saying there is always something beautiful in the midst of difficulties and to never waver whenever there are obstacles," said Syasi.
2. Sweet Endulgence
While Sweet Endulgence is about giving love to others with your own love language.
"My love language is making food. I always make chocolate cakes, brownies, red velvet cakes and many more, for my boarding house and college friends," explained Syasi.
"From there, many friendships developed and until now we still keep in touch," he added.
3. Bombshell
Syasi also explained the bombshell scent which has a meaning about being yourself.
"Bombshell is a manifesto that there is power in being yourself," said Syasi
4. Blaze
Blaze captures the essence of someone who is constantly looking for adventure and seeking comfort in discomfort.
5. Escada
Escada tells the moments you cherish with your loved ones.
"A moment I cherish is going to the beach with my family. It was one of the many beautiful memories I had growing up," said Syasi.
6. Dark knight
"Lastly, I wanted to capture the essence of perseverance in the face of adversity with Dark Knight," said Syasi.
Syasi admitted that she had experienced difficulties and loneliness during her recovery period after three eye surgeries
"At that time I was studying in London and my family was in Jakarta. There were days when the rain felt like it would never end. But I was lucky to have amazing and supportive friends, Dark Knight is proof of that," she added.
Karina also explained the meaning of aroma, which is a fragrant smell.
"But actually, scent is not just oh this smells good," said Karina.
She also touched on the mechanics of smell.
"So everything starts from the nose and ends in our brain," she added. The difference between top notes, middle notes and base notes
"Top is the quickest to disappear, middle is the middle and base notes last the longest," explained Karina.
In the perfume pyramid, top notes are depicted as having a scent of 0-15 minutes, middle notes 15-60 minutes and base notes 1-6 hours.
